Therapy

I offer individual psychotherapy services for adults residing in California. Therapy is currently offered via video and phone. I enjoy working with clients who are going to therapy for the first time in their lives, as well as those who have had many therapy experiences and are looking for a new approach, or returning to therapy to cope with a new life challenge.

What Therapy Looks Like

The first session is usually focused on me getting to know you and you getting to know me. Together we come up with important areas to focus on and develop a treatment plan. The number and spacing of sessions that follow depend on the types of issues we are working on together and client preference. Typically, we meet weekly for 45 minute sessions, and at a certain point reduce to every other week or monthly sessions until therapy goals have been met.

Getting Started

It’s often helpful for us to do a free 10-15 minute phone consultation prior to the first session, although this is not required. If you are interested in having a phone consultation or setting up a first appointment fill out my contact form. You can also call me directly at (510) 592-1054.
